Overview
For about 400,000 people in the world, Low German (Plautdietsch) is the language of the heart. For many of these, it is their only language. Located mostly in the Latin American countries of Mexico, Bolivia and Paraguay, Low German-speakers often feel isolated and forgotten. Square One World Media provides radio, video, and print material that connects with the heart to introduce some to Jesus Christ and encourage others in their long-held faith.

In 2004, Trans World Radio, Bolivia, contacted Square One (then known as Family Life Network) about the desperate need for Low German children’s programming. Helen Funk, wife of German media producer Jacob Funk, responded to the need by becoming “Taunte Helen” on a new family program, Komm Kjikje! Helen realized that children also need to have their own Bible stories to read. She worked with cartoonist Girish Manuel to produce 2 beautifully illustrated volumes of children's Bible storybooks.
Book 1 - Old Testament
